The Nokia Eseries range is aimed at users who use so “almost abusive” e-mail on your mobile. Renewing now with two new terminals, the first of which is the Nokia E71, a terminal with a full QWERTY keyboard that offers access to all our email accounts and instant messaging.

His approach is clearly to compete with BlackBerry, incorporating also the intended performance of a mobile upper-middle-end and Internet connectivity at high speed.

Connectivity

The Nokia E71 is a quad-band phone with GSM and 3G support, specifically HSDPA offering a maximum speed of 3.6 megabits per second. For if we do not have 3G coverage, it also supports EDGE to a maximum of 296 kilobits per second.

Further provides connectivity via Wi-Fi compatible with 802.11g, a USB port and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support, allowing you to use wireless stereo headphones for listening to music.

Physical features of the Nokia E71

The Mobile that features a 2.36 inch screen offers a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and 16 million colors. Your camera has a resolution of 3.2 megapixels and enables video recording at QVGA.

Software

The Nokia E71 runs on Symbian S60 operating system and includes a really useful function, the rapid change of the home screen between two modes, and staff working, so we can have different shortcuts and plugins in each of them.

For e-mail find Intellysync Nokia support, Exchange and any account that uses POP3 or IMAP, with direct support from Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo.

Their functionality will allow us access, in addition to mail, calendar, contacts, tasks and downloading attachments with support for Office documents and PDF.

Availability

The Nokia E71 will be available during the third quarter of this year and will be available in two different colors, gray and white, both with a metallic finish, and will be priced at 350 euros.
